Barclays

April & October 2025

In this role, I learned about the mainframe at Barclays and the processes that happen to keep the systems running 24/7. I helped to fix some live issues, took part in challenges and learned about the Barclays degree apprentership program and the interview process.

FCHQ.IO

January 2022- Present

I have worked in a variety of roles at FCHQ. I have been a volunteer “Playtest Team Leader” for over 175 weeks, testing the communities Fortnite creative map submissions. I am also a Blog Writer, Staff member, Beta Tester and Curator.

Senior Student

Feburary 2025 - Present

In this role, I help maintain Sir John Deanes’ College values of “Curious Caring and Responsible” by helping out at open events on weekends, and helping to solve college wide problems. I also help feed back students views to the leadership team.

National Highways

December 2024

With National Highways, I evaluated whether it would be beneficial to introduce Internet on the motorways, taking into count safety, cost, whilst taking into account usage data presented.

Meta

October 2024

With Meta, I analysed Ads through Ad Data and statistics, and decided which campaign was the best for exposure.

Lloyds Bank

April 2025

With Lloyds, I looked into homelessness data in different regions, and helped come up with a campaign on how Lloyds could help tackle homelessness and where those campaigns should run.

House Captain & prefect

September 2023- June 2024

In this role, I helped at school open evenings and volunteered at school events. I helped fulfil various duties alongside teachers and helped to organise the school sports day. I was also part of the school green team, helping to make the school a more environmentally friendly

Olilz

April 2021- Present

In my spare time I publish and maintain Fortnite Creative Maps. To date I have had 250,000+ unique plays on my creations.

I am Oliver Sparks, and I am currently studying A levels in Chemistry, Computer Science and Geography. I enjoy in my spear time, and enjoy learning about Computers. In the future, I want to persue my Computer Science interest further with a degree apprentership or take my learning further at university..
